Good morning, thank you for this interview and for participating in #GLSummit24. Streamlining supply chains appears today as one of the main priorities for many companies. What do you propose to those who are trying to achieve this goal?
Good morning. In a short time, we have transitioned from Industry 4.0, which brought automation and digitalization into factories, to Industry 5.0, which aims to create a synergistic work environment where humans and machines collaborate safely and efficiently.
The logistics sector is certainly one of the main beneficiaries of Industry 5.0 because the introduction of emerging technologies is radically transforming the management of goods and information flows; traceability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction are being improved.
Studying and implementing systems from a 5.0 perspective brings with it a series of significant advantages:
- Greater flexibility: Industry 5.0 technologies allow companies to quickly adapt to changes in the market and customer needs.
- Better inventory management: Predictive analysis and real-time traceability enable more precise inventory management and reduce errors and waste.
- Increased operational efficiency: Process automation and reduced human errors improve the overall efficiency of logistics operations, reducing time and operating costs.
- Customer satisfaction: Thanks to faster delivery times and complete transparency in transactions, customers benefit from a safer and more satisfying purchasing experience.

There’s no such thing as the ideal customer, but there are customers, all of whom are important for LCS.
